✨ We'll cover how your Glutes relate to back pain, hip pain, pelvic pain, and your pelvic floor.

✨ We'll practice how to locate your glutes, how to lengthen them AND how to strengthen them!

The Happy Hips Workshop is appropriate for both PREnatal and POSTnatal mama's, AND for women many years post birth. It's NEVER too late to learn how you can easily decrease hip pain and strengthen your Glute muscles.

 ** For this workshop you will need a spiky ball or a massage ball, even a tennis ball will do! **

☀️ This workshop is ideal for you if you don't have time or money at the moment to get to a practitioner or regular class or you feel a bit worried or embarrassed about your hips or the state of your body and you want a safe, welcoming, easy to do workshop to give you some stretegies to caring better for your hip health immediately.  

☀️ This workshop will be both preventative AND rehabilitative in nature. As in, this is the work I teach to both help prevent hip, low back, pelvis, pelvic floor issues from occurring AND also the work I teach to support people to rehabilitate after injury.

☀️ The Happy Hips Workshop is perfect for you if you have sore, tight, painful hips, feel weak or unstable in your pelvis, have low back pain, or issues with leaking. Because your Glutes muscles significantly impact your hips, pelvis, pelvic floor, and low back. 

 

The Happy Hips workshop is part of a four part series which include's the following workshops: 

 

1. Pelvic Floor Foundations - Locate, Release, & Activate your pelvic floor. 

2. Hips & Glutes - all about the relationship between your pelvic floor and your glute muscles.

3. Abdominals - gather and connect. How your pelvic floor connects and coordinates with your deep abs. 

4. Breathing - The Pelvic Floor Piston, how the way you breath impacts your pelvic floor.

These are the fundamental themes I teach most often when working with people wanting to prepare for birth and to rehabilitate after, even many years afterwards.

The ideas and tools you'll learn in the workshops take time and consistent practice to integrate into your body. Which is why I offer regular online Motherbody movement classes here, so you have support and accountability to practice what we cover in the workshops.

You can do one single workshop, or join all of them. Each workshop covers the pelvic floor from a different perspective in relation to your pelvis and how your body moves.

I love supporting women to nurture and restore their bodies before and after giving birth. Including many years after giving birth!

I'm a Pilates Teacher, Shiatsu Therapist, Postpartum Doula, Postpartum Corrective Exercise Specialist, Body Ready Method Professional, Spinning Babies Aware Practitioner.

I'm also a mama of two young children based in Melbourne, Australia, and have a knack for thinking up ways you can support your body inside tiny pockets of time and without exhausting yourself.

The Happy Hips Workshop will help you to build longer stronger glutes muscles which will help you to care for your pelvic health as you journey through pregnancy, birth and motherhood.

You'll learn how to work kindly and consistently to connect with, lengthen and strengthen your glutes muscles, which will help decrease tension and pain in your hips, pelvis, low back and also support your pelvic floor.

If you feel a bit lost, and fragile in your body, this workshop will support you to feel like yes, you can trust your incredible body again.
